Our pets are just as much part of the family!

Being a huge dog person I was incredibly excited to receive this commission, to paint a custom portrait of the family's beloved dog Bert. After receiving a choice of three adorable photographs I went for the one that I felt had the best expression and composition.

I really enjoyed working in acrylic paints to capture his unique personality, which, on receiving the amazing reaction from his owners, I think I managed to achieve <3
